The Player-a-Day Project (2018)
about the project
The second iteration of my Player-a-Day Project came about as a passion project and a re-introduction to drawing more frequently. This time around, I tried to vary teams as much as possible and capture players in a simple headshot, set against a color reflective of their 2017-18 team. Players were officially chosen based on their jersey number (numbers to correspond with each day of the month of February) and unofficially chosen based on if I think they're fun or not.
Following the 2017-18 season, players' color schemes may no longer reflect their current team affiliations.
