Molly Murakami (she/her) is a cartoonist, illustrator, and writer from Minneapolis, Minnesota. She likes to make work about family, shared histories, and identity.

Molly has worked with Bleacher Report, Candlewick Press, Densho, First Second, IDW, and others. She loves summer and the desert but continues to live in the frozen north for reasons unknown. Molly enjoys reading all kinds of books, helicopter-parenting her house plants, and has historically been in Brandi Carlile’s top 0.005% of Spotify listeners.
